Second Annual Rubber Duckie Regaffle
Last year's Inaugural Regaffle raised almost $10,000, and we're still tallying the results from this year's event, so keep checking back! What is a "Regaffle"?
A "Regaffle" is the term that we coined to fit our unique event. Our "Regaffle" includes two events: A Rubber Duckie Regatta, and a Raffle.
About The Event
Our "Regaffle" was held on August 9th, 2009 at the Beach Waterpark in Mason, OH. The general public was invited to get involved by purchasing raffle tickets for $5. This year's prizes included a $500 Visa Gift Card, a $250 Gift Card to Wal-Mart, and a $150 Gift Card to Best Buy. Also, the purchase of the $5 raffle ticket sponsored a Big Brothers and Sisters child in our Rubber Duckie Regatta that occured in The Beach's Lazy Miami River. The children matched with the winning ducks also won prizes. To commemorate the regatta, the purchaser of the raffle ticket received a souvenir rubber duck to take home (this duck was not used in the race).
