Ongoing Opportunities The following is a list of long-term volunteer opportunities. For a list of one-time opportunities, please visit this page
Become a "Big" We are always in need of people to be "Bigs" in either our School or Community Based Mentoring Programs. Being a "Big" means that you are matched with a child that you mentor. You spend time getting to know and hanging out with this child, and act as an special friend/mentor for that child. Time commitment and meeting time/places vary, so for more information, visit our "Our Programs" page.
Become a Board Member As a non-profit agency, we have a board of directors that makes decisions in areas such as personnel, budgets, and any other planning areas. We are currently in need of board members, especially members with expertise in finance/banking, fundraising, and human resources. If you are interested in learning more, please email Executive Director, Tammy Stebelton, at bbwar1@go-concepts.com To see a list of our current board members, visit our Staff and Board Page.
Sit on a Committee/Help With a Fundraiser Our agency needs people to help with special areas, like marketing or fundraising. Our staff and board members also participate in these committees, but we can sometimes use outside help in planning. We have 3 types of fundraisers, and usually need help planning 2 of the 3 (Bowl For Kids' Sake and Rubber Duckie Regaffle). Areas where you might help are planning, soliciting sponsors/donors, and working the event. To read more about these fundraisers, check out our "Fundraisers" page. If you are interested in helping on a committee or with a fundraiser, email bbtraci@go-concepts.com
Become a "Member" Our members are an important part of our organization, as they provide the monetary support necessary to keep our programs running. You can become a member by donating to our agency. For more information on membership levels, and to donate now, click here.
Technical Assistance We are looking for someone with computer/technical expertise that can assist when staff has questions/problems with their computers.
